2007-08: Played in 16 games in 2007-08 ... scored 16 points and pulled down nine boards.

2006-07: Redshirted

High School: Giesen attended New Prague High School where he was a All-Conference selection, and a 2 time All-Conference Honoralbe Mention Selection, and an All-Tournament team selection at teh Owotana Holday Tournement....Tom also played baseball and participated in track for a year. Giesen was a member of the choir, pop choir, German club, and the Missota Honor choir.
