2011: Redshirt Season

Prep: Senftner is another multi-sport standout for the Sully Buttes Chargers, earning four letters in both football and basketball and five in track and field.  Senftner will joint he NSU receiving corps after earning All-Conference, All-Area and All-State honors during both his junior and senior seasons.  He also served as a team captain as a senior while playing for his father, Mark Senftner, a Northern State alumnus.  On the basketball court, Senftner earned All-Conference and All-Area honors as both a junior and senior and was recently named to the 2011 Class B State Tournament All-Tournament squad.  Off the playing field, Senftner has served in a variety of extra-curricular activities, including class president, summer youth program volunteer coach and umpire, school newspaper staff.  He was also a 2011 Spirit of Su Nominee.
