2013: Started all 11 games … sixth on the team with 45 tackles and had 2.5 for loss and half a sack … recorded an interception and three quarterback hurries … caught a touchdown pass to setup game-winning two-point conversion against Minot State (10/12) … had five or more tackles in four games … season-high eight tackles against Wayne State (9/7) and MSU Moorhead (10/5)

2012: Appeared in 11 games for the Wolves... Contributed 32 tackles on the year with 8 solo... Career high 3 solo tackles vs. St Cloud...

2011: Appeared in 6 games for the Wolves... 4 total tackles with 1 solo...

2010: Redshirt season.

Pre-NSU: Michael is a four time letter winner in football and was awarded Team MVP in 09, All-State for two year, All-Lake Region Conference for three years, and All-Lake Region Conference Defensive MVP. In 2009, he recorded 99 tackles, three interceptions as a linebacker and 1,070 rushign yards and 16 touchdowns as a running back for Langford High School in South Dakota. Michael also was four year letter winner in basketball and was named team captain and to All-Conference. He averaged 17 points per game adn 8 rebounds per game. He is a six year letter winner at track and was part of the State Champion 4x100 relay team.
