Biography

Prep: Sam Souerdyke is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound linebacker out of Thayer Central High. He was a 4-year starter and team captain for the Titans under the direction of head coach Mitch Shepherd. Souerdyke recorded 315 career tackles and ten interceptions. In addition, he rushed for 4,789 yards with 89 touchdowns in his career and averaged 45.8 yards per punt. Souerdyke was a 2-time all-state honoree on defense, 2024 all-state selection on offense, and 2024 super state punter. TCH qualifier for the state tournament in each of his four seasons, winning the district championship in 2022. He is the son of Rick and Michelle Souerdyke.
