Prep: Kolten Tesch is a 5-foot-8, 175-pound athlete out of Fargo Davies High School. He was a 3-year starter for the Eagles under the direction of head coach Wayne Werremeyer. As a senior, Tesch rushed for 1,533 yards with 19 touchdowns, averaging 11.4 yards per carry. On defense in 2024 and 2025, he recorded 132 tackles, five interceptions, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and four blocked PATs. Tesch is a 2-time all-conference selection, all-state honoree, and academic all-state recipient, as well as the 2025 ND Max Preps Player of the Year, and player of the game for the North Dakota State Championship. FDHS won the North Dakota State Championship in 2025 and finished as the state runner-up in 2024. He is the son of Jennifer Tesch.
