Biography

Prep: A 6-foot-7, 205-pound quarterback out of Central Lyon High School, Ackerman sits second on CLHS's career pass completions (88) and passing yards (1,574) charts.  He also holds two of the top three single game passing performances in CLHS history.  Ackerman finished last season with 42 completions for 763 yards on 104 attempts.  Off the gridiron, he was also a First Team All-Siouxland Conference pick in both basketball and baseball, while also participating in track and field.  He is also a member of the National Honor Society and president of the Third Avenue Youth Group.
