Biography

Prep: Matthew Danninger is a 5-foot-10, 185-pound defensive back out of Marion High School. He was a 2-year starter and team captain for the Wolves under the direction of head coach Michael Joyner. In the fall of 2025, Danninger recorded 11.5 tackles, eight pass break-ups, three interceptions, and one forced fumble. In addition, he added over 900 yards on offense in his final two seasons, scoring eight touchdowns. Danninger was selected to the all-district, all-metro, all-conference, and academic all-conference teams. He is the son of Jay and Gail Danninger.
