Prep: Lewis was named a 2009 Region and State Honorable Mention and earned First Team All-Region honors in 2010 at Peoria High School under coach Doug Clapp. He notched 102 tackles, six sacks, and one interception in his 2009 season, and had 86 tackles, three sacks, two blocked field goals and one special teams touchdown in 2010. He was a three-year letterwinner Lewis was a member of the 2009 4A Boys Track State Championship team and was a four-year letterwinner.
