Prep: Kale Johnson is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker out of Papillion LaVista High School. He was a 3-year starter and team captain for the Monarchs under the direction of head coach Tim Williams. Johnson notched 219 career tackles, 23.0 tackles for a loss, 5.0 sacks, and four interceptions. As a receiver, he added 537 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 13.1 yards per catch. In the fall of 2024, Johnson was named to the Super State All-Nebraska honorable mention team, Nebraska Redzone All-State second team, Nebraska High School All-State second team, Omaha World Herald All-Metro third team, all-district first team, and academic all-state team. He is the son of Jason and Emily Johnson.
