Biography

Prep: Jojo Smith is a 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back out of Anna High School. He was a 3-year starter and team captain for the Coyotes under the direction of head coach Seth Parr. Smith recorded 180 career tackles, including 9.0 tackles for a loss, six interceptions, nine pass break-ups, and four forced fumbles. He led AHS in kick return yards, tackles, and interceptions in 2024 and interceptions in 2025. Smith was a 2-time academic all-district selection and all-district first team honoree. AHS won the Texas State Championship in 2023 and earned area championships in 2024 and 2025. He is the son of Chris and Jennifer Smith.
