Biography

2011: Redshirt Season

Prep: Acosta is a 3-year letterwinner for the Grossmont High Foothillers, earning Second Team All-League honors as a junior.  He also served as a team captain under GHS head coach Ron Murphy while playing both sides of the ball and returning kicks and punts.  Defensively, Acosta recorded 63 tackles and three interceptions last fall.  He also had 13 catches for 192 yards and three touchdowns, while returning 13 punts for 298 yards and a fourth TD.  Acosta also participated in baseball and track for the Foothillers.
