Prep: Elijah Jopp is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound linebacker out of Mayer Lutheran High School. He was a 3-year starter for the Crusaders under the direction of head coach Dean Aurich. Jopp led the team in tackles in both his sophomore and junior seasons. He was a 2020 all-conference selection, as well as a 2021 all-area first team pick. Mayer Lutheran went 13-1 in 2021, winning the Minnesota State Championships.
