Prep: Carson LaPlante is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound wide receiver out of Hutto High School. He was a 3-year starter and team captain for the Hippos. In his final two seasons, LaPlante tallied 756 yards receiving with seven touchdowns. He garnered three academic all-district honors and two all-district nods. He is the son of Brad and Christie LaPlante.
