As a junior, Lanier hit .284 with 21 hits and 11 RBI in 28 games played. The Tigers went 12-16 as a team in 2016. HE is also a member of the Harrisburg Legion team. Lanier is also a letter winner in basketball and cross country at Harrisburg. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and on the honor roll. He is the son of Ken and Vicki Lanier.
