Prep: Zach Carolin is a 6-foot-2, right-handed pitcher out of Red River High School. He was a 3-year letter winner and starter for the Roughriders under the direction of head coach Mark Varriano. In 2018-19 he was named to the Eastern Dakota Conference All-Conference Team as well as being named all-state. In 2017-18, Carolin was a member of the Roughrider team that earned a runner-up finish in the state tournament. He is the son of Rob and Kirsten Carolin and is the brother of former Northern State baseball player, Ben Carolin (2017-21).
