Prep: Tyler Kruetner is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound middle infielder out of Brookings High School. He is a 3-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Bobcats under head coach Ryan Bauer. As a junior, Kruetner hit .410 with a .514 on base percentage. He led the Bobcats in hits, extra base hits, RBI, and stolen bases. He was named to the 2018 all-region and Class A All-State baseball teams. Kruetner spends his summers with the Brookings Bandits program, hitting .383 with 41 hits, 29 runs scored, and 14 stolen bases. He also holds a fielding percentage of .945. He is the son of Bruce and Christine Kruetner.
