Pre-NSU: Connor Burgess is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound outfielder and pitcher out of Stevens High School and Bismarck State College. As a prep, he was a 4-year starter with the American Legion Post 320. Burgess was also named to the all-state team. As member of Bismarck State College, he holds a .418 averaging with a .673 slugging percentage. Burgess was named to the Mondak All-Conference team a season ago. He is the son of Gretchen and Steve Burgess.
