2016: Started 44 games for the Wolves… Hit .321 with 52 hits… Recorded 28 runs scored, 28 RBI, 11 doubles, one triple, and one homerun… Tallied 110 assists and 56 putouts on defense with a .878 fielding percentage… Notched 13 games with two hits or more…

Pre-NSU: Mikey had a great first season in 2014 at St. Cloud Tech where he played every game and hit a team-high .427 with 41 hits and 25 runs batted in. During the Cyclones' trip to the Junior College World Series in Texas, Barreneche was named to the All-Tournament team where he batted .500 and had four runs batted in.
