In 2015 Lucas went a perfect 5-0 in the ESD and earned All-Region Pitcher and Position Player of the Year. He was also named to the 2015 All-State squad as both a pitcher and position player. Lucas recorded a 0.74 ERA in 19 innings of work with 19 strikeouts. He held his opponents to a .333 average with only four doubles.
