Pre-NSU: Holt Hunziker is a 6-foot-6, 240-pound pitcher out of Okoboji High School and Marshalltown Community College. As a prep, he was a 4-year starter for the Pioneers. From 2012-15 he threw 136 innings, with 93 strikeouts and 3.56 ERA. At the plate he tallied a .370 average with 95 hits, seven homeruns, and 88 RBI. Hunziker was a 2-time all-conference first team selection and 2-time all-district second team honoree. He played two seasons at Marshalltown while earning his associates of arts.
