2019: Appeared in nine games and started in five games in his Junior season… Tallied a 8.34 ERA with 0-2 record, 25 hits, 21 earned runs, 14 walks, and 22 strikeouts… In his first start of the season went 5.0 innings allowing eight hits, three earned runs, one walk, and three strikeouts…

2018: Redshirted

Pre-NSU: Jacob Conklin is a 6-foot, 180-pound left handed pitcher out of Elko High School and Lassen Community College. As a prep Conklin was a 4-year letter winner for the Indians under head coach Shane Gilligan. He was named the 2015 Nevada State 1A Player of the year, Northern Division Player of the year, 2014 and 2015 All-State first team, and 2013 Honorable Mention All-Conference. He finished his 4-year career with a 3.46 ERA, .423 batting average, adn six homeruns. As a freshman at Lassen, Conklin threw 29.2 innings with a 4.55 ERA and 23 strikeouts. In the following season he threw 23 innings with a 2.70 ERA and 20 strikeouts. He is the son of John and Phaline Conklin.
