Prep: Maddy Blaylark is a 5-foot-7 guard out of DeLaSalle High School. She is a 4-year starter and team captain for the Islanders under the direction of head coach Ana Garcia. She averaged double figure points as a freshman and shot over 40.0% from the floor as a sophomore. In addition, Blaylark surpassed 1000 career points in February, a milestone set with just over two seasons of action under her belt due to injury. Blaylark is a 2-time Tri-Metro All-Conference team honoree, 2-time MSHSL All-Tournament team member, and all-state honorable mention selection. DeLaSalle advanced to three straight MSHSL Tournaments from 2023-25 and won the State Championship in 2024, posting an overall record of 78-17. She is the daughter of Rosalie and Eddie Blaylark.
