2007-08 (XC): Competed in 6 meets, Finished 5th in NSIC XC Championships in 26:20.5 (season’s best), finished 55th in a 33:05 at North Central Regional XC Championships
2007-08 (TK): Competed in the 3000m and 5000m indoors…ran a personal best of 8:55.29 in 3,000 for 6th place at the Prairie Wolf Invitational and 15:47 for a 5,000m, competed in the 5000m at the NSIC Indoor Championships, competed in the 10,000 and 5,000 at the outdoor NSIC Championships…season bests of 9:05 (3000m), 32:17.58 (10,000m).
2006-07: Finished 5th in the NSIC XC Championships in 27:28.1…ran a personal best of 33:21.25 for 10k at the North Central Regional XC Championships finishing in 45 place …finished 4th at the NSIC Indoor Championships…season bests of 15:37(5k). NSIC Outdoor ran both 5,000 and 10,000 in 32:52.
2005-06: Finished in the NSIC XC Championships in … Ran the mile and 1000 at NSIC Indoor Championships , NSIC Outdoor ran the 3,000 Steeplechase and 5,000.
High School: Conference Champion in the 2 mile run… 3 time All State in cross country and 4 time All State in track… 6th place in the South Dakota XC State Meet as a Sophomore, 8th as a senior…personal bests of 4:33 (1600m) and 9:51 (3200m).
Personal: Danny is the son of Gary and Rose Steen (Watertown) has 3 sisters and 1 brother. Majoring in History.
