Recorded personal bests in the discus (39.45m), hammer (44.91m), weight throw (12.19m), and javelin (33.20m)… Tallied 13 top ten finishes on the year… Finished third in the discus at the NSU Outdoor Open… 

Before NSU
Harris is a three-year state qualifier in the discus for Leyton High School. She is a three-time MAC Conference champion in the discus and won districts twice in the event. She also was the district runner-up in 2011. Last season, Harris placed sixth in the discus at the state meet. Harris is also a decorated volleyball player.
