Mariah is from Mitchell, SD. She competed in for the Golden Eagles at Mitchell Christian High School. Her major is Sociology with Human Services & Criminal Justice.
2014Indoor: registered a career-high in the weight throw with a throw of 48’-4” at Black Hills State. Outdoor: placed eighth at the NSIC Championships in the shot put with a toss of 42’-2.25” … career-high in the shot with a throw of 43’-11.75 at the Viking Classic to win the event
2013 Indoor: She posted a best mark in the shot put of 12.24m and 14.22m in the weight throw. She placed 2
nd in the shot put at the MSU Alumni Open and 5
th in the weight throw. She tabbed a 2
nd place in the weight throw at the NSU Open and 3
rd in the shot put. She narrowly missed placing at the NSIC Indoor Championships placing 10
th in the shot put.
Outdoor: She posted a best mark of 43.52m in the discus, 44.55m in the hammer and 12.22 in the shot put. She placed 4
th in the discus at the Vance Butler Invite. She finished 8
th in the hammer, 7
th in the discus and shot put. At Howard Wood Relays she placed 5
th in the discus. Mariah was able to score points at the NSIC Championships with an 8
th place finish in the discus.
2012 Indoor: She posted a best mark in the shot put of 11.73m and 12.38m in the hammer throw.
She placed 2
nd in the shot put and third in the weight throw at the NSU Triangular. Also placed 4
th in both the shot and weight at the NSU/MSU dual meet.
Outdoor: She posted a best mark in the short put of 11.88m and 41.37m in the discus. She placed 1
st at the Marauder Open in the discus and placed 2
nd in the shot put. She tabbed an 8
th place at the Bison Invite in the shot put. She placed 5
th at the Doane Relays in the discus. She finished 4
th in the discus and 8
th in the shot put at the Cobbler Twilight. She placed 8
th in the shot put and 6
th in the discus at the Sioux Falls Relays. She scored points for her team at the NSIC Conference meet placing 8
th with a throw of 41.37m.
