Jamestown, N.D. – Northern State volleyball ground out a five-set win at (RV) Jamestown Thursday. The Wolves completed a reverse sweep in epic comeback fashion.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern State completed the reverse sweep against Jamestown; the Wolves dropped the first two sets then stormed back to win the next three
- NSU won with set scores of 21-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-23, and 15-12
- The Wolves scored 83 points and had 66 kills, 60 assists, and 91 digs, while hitting .182 as a team
- The defense held the Jimmies to a .172 attack percentage and forced 26 errors
- Following a two-set deficit, Northern took an early 10-6 third set lead; they kept the advantage throughout the third, closing out the set 25-22 with a Sara Moberg service ace
- After falling behind 2-9 in the fourth, NSU answered with a 9-1 run to go up 11-10; an Ava Nilsson ace later secured the win and forced a fifth set
- Down 10-11, Northern State scored five of the final six points to end the match on a Linnea Nesheim kill
- Nesheim led the way for the Wolves in points (25.5), attack percentage (.269), and aces (3)
- Following in points, digs, and hitting percentage was Katelyn Schroeder with 22.5, 18, and .241, respectively; she also had the most kills on the team at 21
- Ashley Yost tallied the most digs on the night with 21; Nesheim trailed her with 19 of her own
- Victoria Persha's eight block assists is the most by a single wolf on the season; she added 12.0 points, eight kills, three assists, and two digs
- Nilsson recorded 54 of the team's 60 assists, she also had 11 digs, two block assists, and an ace
- Moberg also had over 10 digs (12) along with a kill and a service ace; Morissen Samuels racked up 11 kills, five digs, and a block assist
