JAMESTOWN, N.D. – After losing 2-0 in the first game to the Jimmies, the Wolves responded with a 9-2 victory in game two of the doubleheader. The win featured multiple season highs and marked one of the team's strongest outings this season.

GAME ONE: JAMESTOWN 2, NORTHERN STATE 0
- Northern State notched one hit and a walk on offense, along with 18 putouts, five assists and two strikeouts on defense in its 2-0 loss to Jamestown
- After going three up and three down in the top of the first, Trinity Gregg of Jamestown smacked a leadoff double into left field
- A sacrifice bunt from Sydney Rogers advanced Gregg to third, setting up Maddie Spaeth for an RBI single that brought Gregg home for the first score of the game
- The score remained unchanged until the bottom of the sixth inning, when Madelyn Webb stepped up to the plate
- With one swing of the bat, Webb sent a shot over the left-field fence to give the Jimmies a two-run lead
- Similarly to how the Wolves started the game, a three up, three down inning in the top of the seventh sealed the 2-0 win for the Jimmies

GAME TWO: NORTHERN STATE 9, JAMESTOWN 2
- The Wolves rolled off a near-picture-perfect rally for the second game of the doubleheader, recording nine runs, 15 hits, seven RBIs, a home run, a triple, three doubles, nine strikeouts from the mound, 21 putouts and six assists
- After an Alicia Jeanson flyout to lead off the day, Aune Boben quickly got on base via a double to left center
- Sydney Anderson followed it up with her first of three hits of the game, a single to advance Boben to third
- With two gone at the top of the first and two runners in scoring position, Corina Coppersmith sent a shot up the middle to bring Boben across the plate to tally NSU's first run of the afternoon
- With Gregg on first (walked), Spaeth notched a triple to tie the game at 1-1
- The Jimmies would take the lead in the fourth with a sacrifice fly to bring Kasydi Bennett home
- Boben advanced Kennedy Boyer (singled) and Jeanson (singled) to third and second, respectively, for Anderson to bring Boyer home off a single to center
- With runners on third and first, Tevan Bryant stepped up to the plate and sent a rocket to right-center, regaining the lead for the Wolves
- The bats stayed hot in the sixth and seventh, with Hailey Cota recording a triple with Emma Owens on first, bringing the runner home for the first of two scores in the inning
- Jeanson would reach first on a fielding error, with Cota taking the opportunity to score
- After a diving play at home between Cota and the catcher Katie Falk, Northern's center fielder slid safely into home for the team's seventh run of the day
- To add to an already impressive lead, the Wolves notched their second four-hit inning of the game in the seventh, securing two more runs to take the second game
- First, Owens singled, bringing in Dessa Bryant from second, followed by Owens scoring on a fielding error
- Boben paired the Wolves' impressive day at the plate with a dominant showing on the mound for her second win of the season, recording nine strikeouts from the rubber in seven innings
- NSU's 36 at-bats, 15 hits and nine strikeouts on the mound all surpassed season highs this season
