Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University men's basketball team continued their weekend of efficiency shooting 54.5% from the floor in Saturday's win over MSU Moorhead. Three Wolves shot 50.0% or better in the win, as NSU captured a weekend NSIC sweep and their tenth win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Northern shot 54.5% from the floor, 47.6% from the 3-point line, and 81.3% from the foul line in the win, scoring 38 points in the first and 45 in the second
  • They forced 12 turnovers, resulting in 13 points and tallied 30 points in the paint and ten points off six offensive boards
  • NSU out-rebounded MSUM 30-26 and tallied a game leading 16 assists and ten made 3-pointers
  • The Wolves added three steals and one block, as well as nine points off the bench
  • Joshua Book lead four in double figures, knocking down 9-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the foul line for 23 points
  • Book added a team best five assist, followed by James Glenn with four
  • Glenn dropped 21 points in the win, going a perfect 7-of-7 from beyond the arc
  • Simon Akena and Marshawn Smith added 16 and ten points respectively, as well as six and seven rebounds
  • Tobi Obiora matched Smith's leading total of seven rebounds and added four points
  • The duo of Nelson Reynolds and Benjamin Bowen combined for the nine points off the bench for NSU
