Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University men's basketball team bounced back Thursday evening in their final home game of the regular season. The Wolves downed the University of Mary, celebrating senior night with a win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • It was a tightly contested first half with the two teams entering the locker room tied 27-all
  • Northern took control in the second, out-scoring UMary 44-36, shooting an impressive 57.1% from the floor
  • The Wolves led the contest with 20 assists, eight steals, three blocks, and 12 made 3-pointers, while adding 34 rebounds
  • They scored 28 points off the bench, 22 points in the paint, and 17 points off 14 Marauder turnovers
  • NSU shot 41.3% from the floor, 37.5% from the 3-point line, and 77.8% from the foul line in the win
  • Joshua Book led the team scoring 18 points off the bench, adding a team best seven assists and two steals, as well as six rebounds
  • James Glenn and Simon Akena added 13 points apiece, shooting a combined 11-of-22 from the floor
