Aberdeen, S.D. – Down six at the half, the Northern State University men's basketball team rallied back Friday evening from Wachs Arena, defeating Winona State. The Wolves shot 57.0% from the floor in each half and four scored in double figures in the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves scored 37 in the first and 47 in the second en route to their second win of the season at home
- The contest saw 11 tie scores and 11 lead changes throughout, however the Wolves grabbed the lead at 11:52 in the second and the Warriors did not gain one
- Both teams shot 50.0% from the floor with Northern finding the edge, 57.4%-to-50.9%
- In addition, the Wolves shot 37.0% from the 3-point line and 66.7% from the foul line
- NSU led the contest with 40 points in the paint, 17 assists, ten made 3-pointers, and 16 points off the bench, while WSU took the rebound match-up 31-26
- Northern added 11 points off turnovers, seven fast break points, five steals, and two blocks in the game
- Joshua Book and Simon Akena knocked down 21 points each, shooting a combined 14-of-20 from the floor and 7-of-10 from beyond the arc
- Tobi Obiora and Marshawn Smith followed with 14 and 12 points respectively, while leading the team with six rebounds each
- James Glenn and Ty Rogers added six points, followed by Benjamin Bowen with four
- Glenn dished out a team leading six assists and grabbed three steals, while Book added five assists
