Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University men's basketball team fell to Concordia-St. Paul at home Saturday in a 5-point game. The contest saw nine tie scores and seven lead changes, with neither team taking a double point lead.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves led 40-39 at the half, however the Golden Bears won the second half 39-33
- Northern led the game with ten made 3-pointers, 13 assists, seven steals, and four blocks, shooting a game leading 40.0% from the floor and 34.5% from the 3-point line
- CSP found success from the foul line, knocking down 24-of-29, while NSU made 15-of-22
- The Wolves recorded 37 rebounds, including 11 offensive boards which resulted in 16 points, to the Golden Bears 42 rebounds, including 13 on offense for 18 points
- Northern scored 24 points in the paint, 13 points off the bench, and eight points off turnovers in the game
- Joshua Book led three in double figures with 23 points and seven assists, going a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line
- James Glenn and Simona Akena added 16 and 11 points respectively, combining for ten rebounds and three assists
- Glenn led the team and matched his career high with four steals
- Tobi Obiora led the team at the rim, pulling down a career high 14 rebounds and nearly notching a double-double with eight points
- Marshawn Smith led the team off the bench with nine points and four rebounds, wile Ty Rogers and Benjamin Bowen combined for the final six team points
