Topeka, Kan. – The Northern State University softball team opened their 5-game slate at the Washburn Invite with a 4-0 loss to Central Missouri. The Wolves struggled to find a groove against the Jennie starter, notching just one hit in the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Central Missouri scored first in the bottom of the first and added one run in the fourth and two in the sixth; notching four runs on nine hits
  • Northern was held scoreless, recording one hit and giving up one error defensively
  • Tevan Bryant tallied the team's hit in the top of the fourth, a 1-out single to center
  • Abby Rux suffered her first loss of 2025, giving up four earned runs, nine hits, and one walk with two strikeouts
