Wayne, Neb. – The 7 seeded Northern State University volleyball team lost on the road Tuesday against 2 seeded Wayne State. This loss ended the 2025 Wolves' volleyball season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern State falls in the first round of the NSIC Tournament in four sets against the Wildcats
- Wayne State won with set scores of 20-25, 25-18, 25-22, and 25-21
- NSU scored 74 points and had 57 kills, 51 assists, and 65 digs, hitting .285 as a team
- The Wolves gave up 72 kills, 67 assists, 73 digs and a .335 Wildcat team hitting percentage
- Katelyn Schroeder led the Wolves on offense with 16 kills, she also had 13 digs and three assists while hitting .378
- Abby Brooks and Linnea Nesheim added 12 kills and 11 kills respectively
- Brooks also had a team high .688 attack percentage to go along with her five blocks
- Ava Nilsson had 47 of the team's 51 assists, she also recorded six digs
- Nilsson and Nesheim each notched three aces
- Abby Schauer led the team on defense with 24 digs
