Wolves Concludes Relay Meet Against Marauders and Mustangs

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University swim team closed out the NSU Relay meet with a third place finish with a total of 106 points. The Wolves recorded two first place finishes and four second place finishes on the night.
 
 
WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS
  • Northern State kicked off the night in the 300 fly relay with a third place finish with a time of 3:16.70; relay members include Laila Gordillo, Brianna Back, and Jocelyn Dirksen
  • A team of Marie Loest, Emma Beavers, and Hilary Sonnabend took second place in 300 Breast relay, hitting the wall at 3:47.20
  • In the 800 free relay, NSU took second place with a time of 8:30.89; relay members include Haley Osborne, Emma Moore, Kenna Remily, and Abbegael Nynas
  • Northern State took the gold in the 500 free relay hitting the wall at 5:00.07; the relay team included Mazie Finch, Loest, Moore, and Back
  • A team of Osborne, Remily, Nynas took second place in the 1500 free relay with a time of 17:28.26
  • In the 400 medley relay, a team of Sonnabend, Moore, Annalise Olsson, and Finch took second place recording a time of4:21.61
  • Northern State took first place in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:46.61; relay member includes Osborne, Moore, Olsson, and Finch
  • Jacie Flockhart closed the night out for the Wolves in the one meter dive, recording a score of 78.57
 
UP NEXT
Northern State returns to the pool tomorrow for a dual meet against Southwest Minnesota State and the University of Mary. The meet is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. from the Aberdeen YMCA.
