Falcon Heights, Minn. – The Northern State University cross country teams took on the 38
th running of the Roy Griak Invite today. The men kicked off the competition with a 17
th place finish, clocking in an average time of 28:40.0 in the 8k. Four Wolves crossed the finish line for the NSU women, notching an average time of 25:27.0.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Nathan Alto led the way taking 34th with a time of 26:58.2; he sat in the top-20 for the first half of competition
- Evan Halbe and Jacob Angerhofer crossed the finish line in 28:27.5 and 28:51.6 in 118th and 153rd
- Bailen Hayford and David VanVeen rounded out the Wolves top-5 with times of 29:14.7 and 29:47.9 respectively
