Weber, Taylor Named Army National Guard Athletes of the Week

Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Chris Weber (men's track & field) and Renea Taylor (women's track & field) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.
 
Weber won the 100m with a school record time of 10.43 at the USD Tune-up. Broke the previous record of 10.50 set by Micah Arnold in 2004. He currently ranks second in the NSIC and 39th in the country with his provisional mark.
 
Taylor tallied a pair of top-5 finishes at the USD Tune-up. Took fourth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.78. That marked moved her up to 14th in the NSIC. The junior was a member of the third place 4x100m relay team that finished with a time of 48.56.
