Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Drew Salfrank (men's track & field) and Mckenzie Wanner (softball) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.
Salfrank broke the Northern State school record in the 400m with a time of 47.54. He took third in the event. The junior is a member of the third place 4x100m relay that finished in 41.16.
Wanner posted a 2-0 record against Wayne State and Augustana. She threw 15.2 innings in three outings of work. The redshirt sophomore tallied 2.23 ERA and two strikeouts. The Wildcats and Vikings finished the regular season third and fifth in the league standings.
