Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team dropped 12-3 in game one and 13-0 in game two against St. Cloud State. The Huskies capitalized off of costly mistakes from the Wolves with seven errors on the day.
Nicholas Ochoa led the NSU offense on the day with three hits and two stolen bags.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1
- St. Cloud was the first to score in the top of the first with one run
- In the fourth inning the Huskies added three runs to extend their lead
- Northern State responded back in the bottom of the fourth as Nicholas Ochoa drove one through the right side that scored Jonah Schmidt
- Jackson Meyers flew out to left field for a sacrifice fly that scored Nick Friedges
- Jordan DeMarce found a hole in right center for a single that scored Ochoa to trail by one in the bottom of the fourth
- SCSU added five runs in the top of the fifth to lead by six runs
- The Huskies extended their lead with three runs in the top of the seventh to lead by nine runs
- NSU tallied three runs off of six hits and four errors

- In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Wolves were unable to score a run after singles from Nickolas Ochoa and Dylan Soulek
- Northern State recorded no runs and five hits with three errors in the contest
- Drew Burkholder notched the loss on the day in 4.2 innings pitched with two strikeouts
