Wolves Club Opens Wolves on the Water Registrations for 2024

Aberdeen, S.D. – Registration is now open for the 36th Annual Wolves on the Water Walleye Fishing Tournament, set for May 31 – June 1, 2024. The weekend kicks off on Friday, May 31 at 4 p.m. from New Evarts Resort, while fishing opens at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 from Walth's Bay.
 
The tournament is open to two or three person teams for an early bird price of $360 until 4 p.m. on May 10, 2024. All registrations received after 4:01 p.m. on May 10, 2024 will be subject to a $30 price increase ($390). Entry to the tournament includes seven hours of fishing, steak dinner, and entry into the big fish and rough fish contests.
 
Registration forms will be mailed out to past participants or can be printed off at the link above. Online registration is live at nsuwolves.com/wow/registration. Completed paper registrations should be mailed with payment information to Wolves on the Water, 620 15th Ave SE, Aberdeen, SD 57401.
 
The tournament schedule includes registration, followed by a social hour at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 31. Dinner opens at 5:30 p.m., while the rules meeting will take place at 6 p.m. with live auction and raffles following. The Friday night events feature over $50,000 in prizes. Fishing opens the following morning at 8 a.m. from Walth's Bay, with four flights of competition.
 
Payouts will be given to the top-25 placing teams. The 2024 Wolves on the Water tournament is limited to the first 140 participating teams. Flights will be assigned by the order that paid registrations are received. The highest placing team with two out of three members new to Wolves on the Water will receive their registration fee back.
 
Teams wishing to participate in the Calcutta can buy their own team for $300. Calcutta pre-purchases must be marked on the registration form or communicated via email to Nate Davis at nate.davis@northern.edu. The remaining teams will become open to the public for purchase at 6 p.m. during the Friday's banquet.
 
Participants also have the option to participate in the 15-gun raffle or cash raffle. Full details on both raffles are listed below. To purchase a ticket for the 15-gun or cash raffle contact Nate Davis at nate.davis@northern.edu. Individuals can also purchase 15-gun and cash raffle tickets from Wolves on the Water Committee members.
 
15-Gun Raffle
Only 200 tickets will be sold for the 15-gun raffle at a price of $100 per ticket. Tickets selected during the drawing will be put back in for each of the 15 guns drawn. The full 15-gun listing will be released in the coming weeks.
 
Cash Raffle
Tickets for the cash raffle with prize payouts up to $25,000 are $100 each. Payouts will be given to 41 total winners and will be based off the maximum number of tickets sold (500). If all tickets are not sold, the payout amounts will be broken down by the percentage of tickets sold.
