Wolves Wrap Up CSP Invite with Sixth-Place Finish

St. Paul, Minn. – After three days of competition at the CSP Invite, the Northern State University women's swim and diving team secured sixth place with 405 points, highlighted by seven top-ten finishes on the final day. Over the course of the invite, NSU recorded a total of 20 top-ten finishes
 
WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS
  • Haley Osborne and Abbegael Nynas kicked off the finals session with eighth and tenth-place finishes in the 500 free, with times of 5:21.28 and 5:20.85.
  • Eydie Bruestle followed up with an 11th-place finish, hitting the wall at 2:13.76 in the 200 back.
  • In the 100 IM, Brianna Back took third place with a time of 1:01.23, with Jocelyn Dirksen in tenth place with a time of 1:02.61.
  • Osborne took sixth place, hitting the wall at 53.00 in the 100 free.
  • In the one-meter dive, Jacie Flockhart took second place with a score of 362.05.
  • The Wolves closed out the final day of the Invite with a fourth-place finish, hitting the wall at 3:35.33. Relay members included Osborne, Laila Gordillo, Emma Moore, and Back.
  • NSU finished the CSP Invite in sixth place with a total of 405 points.
 BEYOND THE RESULTS
  • Jacie Flockhart set a new school record in the one-meter dive with a score of 362.05.
  • The previous record, also held by Jacie, was set during the 2023-24 season with a score of 242.62.

UP NEXT
Northern State will head to Bismarck, N.D., for a dual meet against the University of Mary and Concordia-St. Paul, set for Saturday, December 7th, at 12 p.m.
