Wolves Wrestling to Welcome 350-Plus Campers and Decorated Clinicians Starting Sunday

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University wrestling program opens their annual camp series this Sunday, welcoming over 350 wrestlers from Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri, and Kansas.
 
Camp participants will compete in duals in a variety of sessions throughout the day, June 25-28 in Wachs Arena. Between dual sessions, participants will learn technique from former Division I wrestlers Tony Ramos, Jason Nolf, Doug Schwab, and Dave Crowell. 
 
This year's camp clinicians have recorded a combined five NCAA Individual National Championships, ten NCAA D1 All-American performances, and six Big Ten individual titles. In addition, they have competed on multiple NCAA Championship teams, as well as the US Olympic team.
 
Three clinicians currently serve in the college ranks with Ramos as the Associate Head Coach at North Carolina, Nolf as a competitor for Nittany Lion Wrestling Club, and Schwab as the Head Coach at University of Northern Iowa.
 
Finally, Crowell is best known for his Hall of Fame high school coaching career in Pennsylvania.  He is 7-time Pennsylvania Coach of the Year and 2-time National High School Coach of the Year, winning seven PIAA State Tournament individual titles and five PIAA Dual State Championships.
