Northern State Records over 30 Top-10 Finishes from Texas Southern Relays

Houston, Texas – The Northern State University track and field teams closed out the TSU Relays on Saturday with six event wins and 22 top-10 finishes. Friday results and information can be found in the recap story HERE.
 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
  • Seth Martens tallied a season best time of 49.93 in the 400m, taking fourth overall
  • Jacob Angerhofer recorded an eighth place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:03.76
  • Sam Tremelling won the pole vault with a 4.40m mark, followed by Eli Radtke and Sean Jeungst in fifth and sixth with marks of 3.80m and 3.50m respectively
  • The 4x200m relay team of Noah Bayer, Radtke, Juegst, and Collin Engebretson won the race with a time of 1:36.20
 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
  • Renea Taylor won the 100m with a time of 11.95
  • Morgan Sheldon and Addison Cumbow ran to sixth and seventh place finishes in the 100m hurdles with times of 15.79 and 18.11
  • Vanessa Klein rounded out the top-10 of the 200m with a time of 26.88
  • Kyanna Collymore ran to a season best time of 1:00.12 in the 400m, taking fourth overall
  • Mary Franssen added a win in the 800m with a time of 2:20.65, followed by Summer Carlson and Alli Jackson in fifth (2:24.72) and tenth (2:30.20)
  • Megan Pickering led the way in the 1500m for the women racing to a time of 4:48.54 in fifth
  • Franssen added a top-10 finish in the 1500m with a time of 4:47.21 in ninth
  • Laci Leverty and Bethany Dybdahl took first and second in the pole vault, clearing 3.19m and 3.04m
  • Kamryn Schwartz added a fourth place finish in the triple jump with a 10.07m mark
  • The 4x100m relay team of Klein, Taylor, Leverty, and Collymore took fifth with a time of 48.76
  • The squad of Sheldon, Leverty, Cumbow, and Carlson won the 4x200m with a time of 1:55.09
  • In the final relay of the day, the team of Collymore, Klein, Jackson, and Taylor took third in the 4x400m with a time of 4:08.42
