Brookings, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field teams opened the SDSU Indoor Classic on Friday evening with the distance events.
 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Jackson Harrison recorded an eighth place finish in the 5000m with a school record time of 14:35.11

 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Megan Pickering ran to a top-20 finish in the 5000m, crossing the line in 17:58.66 in 18^th place overall

 
BEYOND THE RESULTS

• John Jacklin tallied a personal best in the 3000m with a time of 9:43.93
