Austin, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2023 Soccer Academic All-America® teams today with two Northern State University Wolves honored. Both midfielders, Calista Kocmick and Mia Zagorski landed on the third team.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Division II Academic All-America® program.
 
Sixteen of the 33 members of the Academic All-America® Division II women's soccer teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. Kocmick and Zagorski make up two of the 4.0 recipients. Kocmick is majoring in biology and chemistry, while Zagorski is a biology major.
 
Kocmick started all 18 contests in 2023 as one of four Wolves to record three goals. She recorded a 63.6 shot on goal percentage, notching 7-of-11 shots on frame. Kocmick was also a second team all-conference selection and CSC Academic All-District® recipient.
 
Zagorski started all 18 games this season, recording 1,280 minutes played. She led Northern State with four assists and added 13 shots and seven shots-on-goal. Zagorski is a 2-time NSIC All-Conference honoree and CSC Academic All-District® award winner.
