Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field teams open the indoor season at the University of Mary's Marauders Indoor Opener. Events will begin at 11 a.m. from the Fieldhouse and Wellness Center.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves were selected eighth for both the men and women in the NSIC Preseason Indoor Coaches' Poll
• Joel Matehs and Sam Tremelling were nominated as the male athletes to watch this season, and Renea Taylor and Kenzee Danielson were picked for the women's team
• On the men's side, 30 athletes return to compete from last year and they welcome 20 newcomers this year
• The women's team return 22 and add 16 to their roster this year
