Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's
Josh Dilling (men's basketball) and
Madelyn Bragg (women's basketball) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.
Dilling averaged 21.0 points, 5.3 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game in the Wolves 3-0 week. He shot 74.2% (23-of-31) from the floor and 93.8% (15-of-16) from the 3-point line. The junior knocked down a NSIC leading 15 made 3-pointers and shot 100.0% from beyond the arc against UMary and Peru State. He added two steals and one block.
Bragg led the Northern State offense with 24 points in the back-to-back wins against UMary and Sioux Falls. She averaged 12.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. The sophomore drained 9-of-23 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the free throw line. She added five assists, including a season high four against the Marauders, as well as three blocks. In addition, Bragg recorded a career high of 12 rebounds against UMary.
