Wolves Conquer the Jimmies for Third Win of the Season

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University swimming team opened Gypsy Day weekend for the Wolves with a win over the University of Jamestown. The Wolves defeated the Jimmies 139-58, improving to 3-0 this season. 
 
WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS
  • Northern State kicked off the day with a first place finish in the 400 medley relay, as the team of Maddie Gonzales, Emma Beavers, Lilly Grebner, Guusje Van Lent notched a time of 4:12.33
  • Alexia Hoven kept the Wolves rolling with a victory in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:41.45
  • The Wolves stayed hot as Tayla Liddle finished with a first place finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:04.79, followed by Brianna Back hitting the wall at 2:05.98
  • Van Lent won her second event of the night in the 50 freestyle, with a time of 24:81, while Grebner won the 400 IM with a time of 4:33.76
  • Jacie Flockhart made history, returning the Northern State dive program with a victory in the 1-meter dive; she recorded a score of 242.62
  • Grebner added another race victory in her third event, taking the 100 fly with a time 58.40
  • Liddle tallied her second first place finish of the night in the 100 freestyle with a time of 56.99, while Gonzales finished in the top spot in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:02.14
  • Haley Osborne notched a first place finish in the 500 Freestyle, with a time of 5:27.82
  • The Wolves closed out the evening winning the 200 freestyle relay; the team of Osborne, Liddle, Georgy Turner, and Van Lent recorded a time of 1:44.61
