Jake Adams (football) and
Alexus Townsend (soccer) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.
Adams recorded a career game for the Wolves against Concordia-St. Paul, notching a single game high and team leading 14 tackles. Of his 14 stops, eight were solo tackles. In addition, Adams tallied 1.0 tackle for a loss and a quarterback hurry.
Townsend tallied 13 saves for the Wolves in their 2-0 weekend against Southwest Minnesota State and Augustana. She averaged 6.5 saves per contest and registered her seventh and eighth shut-outs of the 2023 season. The Wolves keeper sits second in the NSIC in goals against average, saves, and shutouts.
