St. Paul, Minn. – A pair of penalty kicks were the only scores of the night as Northern State and Concordia-St. Paul battled to a 1-1 draw on a rainy Friday night in St. Paul.
Megan Fastenau scored her third goal of the season in the 21
st minute of the game, tying the game at one.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a result of a Northern State handball off a Concordia-St. Paul corner kick, Katie Anderson gave the Golden Bears the early 1-0 lead with a penalty kick in the 20th minute
- After Isabela Polanco Garcia drew a CSP foul on the very edge of the goalkeeper's box, Megan Fastenau buried a penalty kick into the left side of the net just 32 seconds after Anderson's goal to tie the game at one in the 21st minute
- After making two saves early in the first 15 minutes of the game, Alexus Townsend made six saves throughout the second half
- Northern State's second shot-on-goal of the game did not come until the 88th minute of the game off a corner kick; Paige Hutton placed a header towards the bottom left corner of the net, forcing CSP goalkeeper Ashlyn Waldon to make a diving save
- Concordia-St. Paul held the advantage in shots (17-6) and shots-on-goal (9-2), holding Northern to a season low in both categories
- Northern State held a 5-2 edge in corner kicks
