Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University Athletic Department concluded the 2022 spring semester with over 370 student-athletes recording a cumulative grade point average of 3.2. In addition, the Wolves student-athletes notched a term GPA of 3.2, marking the 28
th consecutive semester above a 3.0 for the department.
Northern State volleyball and women's cross country led the way in the department with a 3.8 semester marks. Soccer followed close behind with a 3.7, while men's basketball led the male teams with a 3.3 semester GPA.
In addition, 72 student-athletes across the department's intercollegiate athletic programs tallied a 4.0 term GPA and 84 recorded a 3.5 or higher. In total, ten of the department's programs recorded a semester average above a 3.0 (listed below).
